Other
If there are enough teams each week teams will be broken into different pools.
After pool play is done we stick around to play until it gets dark.

Please park in the car spaces.  Park in the trailer spaces at your own risk.

The only reason we will not play is high winds.  Rain is fun to play in.

Scoring and Games
Play one game to 21
Games are rally scoring

General Outdoor rules
Not allowed to receive any serve opened handed.
No doubles on free balls.
No open hand tipping.
No directional blocking.  On a joust ANYTHING GOES (almost).
If you are the only person touching the ball with open hands in a blocking motion and you redirect the ball to one side or the other it is a tip.
Setting needs to be clean.  Better than indoor setting.
More of a basket set is allowed.  This year we will be trying hard to not let bad setting continue throughout matches (more in the upper pool than the lower). Think about bump setting.
If any part of the ball hits any part of the line the ball is in.
The poles that hold up the net are the antennas.
Blocking will not count as a touch. Block plus 3 touches.
In RC2's girls can block anyone, guys can only block guys.
If a female is playing in the Men's league she plays under men's rules and is subject to a block.
